Today I asked the First, age 12, what characteristic he would like in a girlfriend. I was thinking, pretty, good sense of humor, likes rock music and long walks on the beach; all the garbage you see in the personals.
He thought for a moment, and said, “Generosity.”
Let the record show: I have raised an awesome son.
I bet my future daughter-in-law will generously thank me.
