This is not a new fight, but in the interest of your boxing education you absolutely must watch this Katie Taylor v Caroline Barry amateur boxing match. Damn, it’s exciting to see this kind of energy bouncing around the ring. Oh, and these may be the first ring GUYS you’ve ever seen.

Hat tip to my Irish friend Niamh for posting this video on her blog, which is where I found it and fell in love with this dynamic boxing whirlwind. Katie Taylor is a two time world champion and one of Ireland’s main hopes for a medal in the 2012 Olympics.

Lucia Rijker in the World Boxing Hall of Fame
