As if there was ever really any doubt.

Nonetheless, I have secured the hardcopy evidence and now I submit it into the loving care of the internets, who will be sure to NEVER FORGET that in fact, I rate.

This also illustrates how cool I am to not only be palindromic (!!) but also up-side-down-ic. Any which way you spin me, I am clearly the wow-est mom ever.

WoWMoM rulez. (Thanks, IceMage, for the lovely certificate.) (Which I deserve.)

The Maker made me this super-awesome pop-up card and I know you’re all jealous. He has recently been enamored of the nifty way you can play with words, and he particularly adores palindromes. However, in the case of my name (which is, of course, “Mom”) he likes that I sign my notes with “WOW MOM”. [...]

You Can Do Anything Too

Lisa Creech Bledsoe: In the ring from The Garner Citizen on Vimeo. Rachel Healy is a quiet, elegant woman. She has understated magnetism that pulls you in and makes you tell her everything. Or maybe I just run my mouth constantly about boxing and she’s kind enough to not only listen, but also to (gasp) [...]

Halloween Popcorn Balls

Me: Do any girls like you right now? Ice: A lot. Me (floored): Really? How many? Ice: Seven or eight. Me: Wow. Who are all these girls? Ice: Emily, Adrianne, Caroline, Elizabeth, Teoni, Taylor, Ashley, and a couple others. Narrowing it down, I like Emily and Adrianne best. Caroline and Ashley are really close friends. [...]

A conversation with the Maker, age six: The Maker: Has it been at least ten years since I was born? The Mom: No. It’s been six years since you were born. The Maker: Because I’m six? The Mom: Yep. (silent moment) The Maker: Ooohhhh, so THAT’S how it works. Image credit: Rainbow Raider on Flickr

Sweet Boy

January 20, 2007

Last night I found a darling boy-crafted flower on my pillow when I went to bed. Had to be the Maker. This morning I took his picture with it. Don’t you think his girlfriend will go all “awwww!” over this some day?
